This year's Isle of Man Hockey Festival will be the last to be held over the Whit Bank Holiday at the end of May.
From 2009, the event will switch to the Spring Bank Holiday at the start of the month.
Problems with travels costs and the availability of accomodation in the run-in to the T.T. races have been given as the main reasons for the change.
