There are very good numbers entered for the Isle of Man Festival of Running.
511 athletes have registered in advance although more may sign-on at the start of each of the three races over the Easter weekend.
The action opens on Friday evening with a 10 kilometre run in the south of the Island, there's the Peel Hill Climb on Saturday afternoon and the action finishes on Douglas Promenade on Sunday morning.
Dave Griffiths from the organising committee says numbers taking part are the highest for a couple of decades:-
