FHO Racing says it follows 'near-crash' in FP2 session
Peter Hickman has been withdrawn from the latest British Superbike Championship (BSB) round this weekend.
FHO Racing says the decision to rule out the 13-time TT winner from the remainder of this weekend's schedule at Donington Park comes after the rider had a 'near-crash' in an FP2 session in which Hickman 'strained his hand.'
Furthermore, the team adds this move will allow Hickman 'to rest and recover before the team's forthcoming TT commitments.'
Meanwhile, the TT outright lap record holder himself describes it as 'frustrating' not to be racing this weekend but is thanking people for their support.
