Fifth win in ten walks
Richard Gerrard returned to stunning form to take a fifth Parish Walk victory last night.
The Douglas man crossed the line in a time of 15:25:10, overcoming another bout of illness which set in halfway around the course.
Last year's winner Liam Parker was second with a time of 16:00:53.
Bernie Johnson (17:37:17) was the first woman to finish after a shock retirement from favourite Karen Chiarello at Peel.
