Northern club secures second trophy in two days
Ramsey AFC's Under-21 side have won this year's Cowell Cup competition with a 3-0 victory over Rushen United last night (19 May).
The northerners took the lead shortly before the half-hour mark courtesy of Callum Hudgeon before Ryan Kelly struck home before the break.
Into the second period and Ramsey made sure of taking home the silverware when Charlie Higgins fired home to net a third for his side.
This marks the second trophy Ramsey AFC has claimed across all competitions this campaign and a second piece of silverware in two days.
Separately the men's first team beat Laxey 3-0 last Saturday (17 May) to retain the Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup.
