Football: Douglas Royal and Peel rampant as pair remain unbeaten

Douglas & District play first ever senior women's match

Douglas Royal and Peel were rampant on Sunday (13 September) to stay unbeaten in the Canada Life Women's League.

The Ballafletcher side put eight past a Douglas & District team playing their first ever senior women's match. 

Meanwhile, Peel beat Rushen United Las Mujeres 8-0 as they took to the pitch for the first time this season. 

The Westerners were given a home win in match week one after Onchan could not field a team. 

Elsewhere, Corinthians also picked up their first points of the new campaign with a 6-2 win at home to Union Mills.
