MLS side defeated
Manx footballer Liam Doyle played an integral part in a big win for Nashville SC in the fourth round of the US Open Cup last night.
They beat Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids 2-0, with centre-back Doyle and his defensive colleagues restricting their opponents to just three shots, none of which were on target.
The 25-year-old even managed to bag an assist for his team's second goal.
Nashville, a new franchise, are playing their debut season in the United Soccer League, which is the tier below MLS.
They are now unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions.
