Manx Rugby player Phil Cringle has received a double boost.
He made his debut for Scotland under-18's on Sunday at Hawick in a 20-8 defeat to England.
Despite the loss, he has been selected to play against Ireland in Dublin this coming weekend.
And there is further good news - he has also been picked in the Scotland squad for the European Fuera Tournament in Madrid which gets underway next week.
Phil Cringle is studying at Kirkham Grammar School and is supported by Isle of Man Sport Aid and a Gubay Chase your Dreams scholarship.
