
Mark Cavendish has done it again!
The Manx Missile has won the second stage of the Tour of Missouri sprinting past big rival Norwegian Thor Hushovd to claim his 23rd victory of the season.
Having won Monday's opening stage, the 24 year-old Manxman leads the overall classification - he gained a ten second bonus for crossing the line first yesterday.
Cavendish has now recorded 51 stage wins in his career. This season is his most successful to date with 23, he won 11 stages in his debut year in the professional ranks in 2007 and 17 in 2008.
