Dame Kelly Holmes will be on the Isle of Man later this month.
She will be calling on SMP Partners and the Children's Centre, which will benefit from a fund-raising gala dinner on Thursday, May 26.
Dame Kelly converted a good career into an amazing one at the age of 34, when she won gold in both the 800m and 1500m at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
She is looking forward to her visit, and will be will be travelling to the Isle of Man again later in the year (play audio file):
