Current top-two in Manx football hunting first silverware of season
Corinthians and Peel are set to battle it out in the 2025 Manx Car Store Railway Cup final in Douglas today (26 December).
The traditional Boxing Day clash at The Bowl in Douglas will also feature the current top two sides in the Canada Life Men's Premier League.
This afternoon's showdown will see both sides get the chance to lift the first major piece of silverware of the 2025/26 Manx football season.
Corinthians come into today's meeting having lost just once in all competitions so far this campaign and sitting top of the Canada Life Men's Premier League.
However, that one loss to date came at the hands of defending premier league champions, Peel with the westerners inflicting a 5-0 defeat on their opponents very recently on Saturday, 13 December.
Peel themselves were also finalists in this competition twelve months ago where they fell to a 3-2 extra-time loss to Ayre United.
Today's final is due to kick-off at 2pm, entry for supporters to The Bowl will be £5 for adults and £1.50 for children and concessions.
