The sides at the foot of Group A shared six goals in an exciting contest in the MBL Floodlit Cup yesterday (Sunday).
Colby looked set for their first victory of the tournament when they led Ramsey 3-1 at the Bowl.
However, the southerners – for whom Michaela Robinson, Kira Buchan and Laura Beggs scored – were only able to field ten players throughout, and Ramsey took advantage to hit back.
Bekkie Colquitt, with two goals, and Lauren Stoutt were on target for the northern side.
In the other match, already qualified Douglas Royal defeated Old Boys 8-1 in a 'dead-rubber' tie.
Doubles from Donna Shimmin and Kym Hicklin led the way.
There were also goals from Becci Pate, Bekki Cole, Sarah Breen and Katie Halsall, while Helen Cooper netted the Blackberry Lane outfit's consolation.
