Champions up to second; Corinthians off bottom

Reigning champions St George’s moved up to second while Corinthians gave their survival hopes a massive boost in the two games in the Sure Mobile Premier League on Saturday.

Goals from Callum Morrissey (two), Connor Doyle and Jack McVeigh secured the Geordies a 4-0 home win over Michael.

Meanwhile, Nigel Moody scored a hat-trick as Corinthians won 7-2 at Colby to move off the bottom.

The Whites turned on the style at Glen Road with Steven Glover (two), Stuart Christian and Brett Armitage netting the others in the romp.
