Manx rider speaks out about lack of selection
Manx and British cyclist Mark Cavendish has been left out of Bahrain McLaren's Tour de France squad for the second year running.
Cavendish has won 30 Tour stages, four short of Eddy Merckx's record of 34 victories, however was also left unselected last year by previous team Dimension Data.
After the announcement, the Isle of Man's champion cyclist took to Twitter to speak candidly to his followers:
The Tour is rescheduled to begin 29 August and run until 20 September.
