He may have made history yesterday, but there's no time for Mark Cavendish to rest on his laurels.

The Manx Missile yesterday became the first British rider to win the green jersey at the Tour de France and only the second one ever to win one of the event's classifications.

He crossed the line first on the Champs Elysees in Paris for the third year in a row, also a record.

Despite it being a dream of his to finish Le Tour with the green he says he is only looking forwards.

September sees the World Road Race Championships in Denmark and next summer the Olympics come to London.
