'The Grenade' hoping to build on successful pro debut in Blackpool
Isle of Man pro boxer Jade Burden's has had her opponent confirmed for her second showdown in the professional ranks next month.
'The Grenade' will face Sheffield's Kerry Orton at Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Saturday, 7 September.
The Isle of Man athlete's contest will take place on the undercard of the commonwealth welterweight youth title showdown between Jake Abrol and Alidu Sulemana.
Burden had originally been due to face Orton in her pro debut back in April but a late change saw the Island competitor face Sheffield's Sheree Barnes who Burden would go on to beat on points at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Orton from Sheffield has currently had eleven pro bouts all of which have ended in defeats on points with the latest of those coming against on 27 July this year against Jayne Bardauskas.
