Bowden end Vagas' unbeaten start

Vagabonds lost their 100 per cent record as they went down 30-16 away at Bowden in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.

Simon Heggs picked up a try for Vagas with Jonny Beckley picking up the rest of their points via two penalties, a drop goal and a conversion.

Vagas felt there was little difference between the teams but Bowden just got the rub of the green on the day.
