Bostock and Swift confident heading into Commonwealth Games

Both will represent Island in track cycling in Glasgow

The two cyclists representing the Isle of Man at the 2026 Commonwealth Games say they're both feeling confident about putting in some strong performances.

Matthew Bostock and Ben Swift will put on the Manx jersey to take part in the track cycling events in Glasgow between Thursday, 30 July and Sunday, 2 August.

What's more, both will head into the games with success on the track so far this season having picked up multiple national titles between them.

Speaking to Manx Radio, both say their respective preparations have gone well and that they're looking forward to the test of taking on some of the best in the world:

Outside of their track commitments, both riders have also been busy on the roads so far in 2026.

Bostock heads into the games in a good vein of form having been crowned British National Circuit Champion on Saturday, 27 June which followed on from winning the City of London Nocturne two weeks before that.

Meanwhile, Swift continues to represent NetCompany INEOS on the men's WorldTour, most recently at the Tour de Suisse last month.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are scheduled to take place from Thursday, 23 July to Sunday, 2 August.
