That’s after a thrilling 4-3 victory over holders Middlesex at the Bowl on Saturday night.
A 108th minute free-kick from Sid Batty – he had earlier put the hosts in front with another free-kick – settled a dramatic seven goal contest.
In an end-to-end contest, Middlesex twice levelled after Andy Burkitt had restored the Island’s advantage and then took the lead only for Jay Skelcher-Maxwell to hit a leveller six minutes from time.
That forced extra-time where Batty sent the Island through.
