The state of the Isle of Man's economy is weighing heavily on the minds of voters in Rushen.
That's according to Port St Mary lifeboat stalwart and retired teacher Alex Maddrell.
Manx Radio's final election debate is taking place this evening (Friday), focusing on the most southern constituency and all six candidates have been invited to take part in the programme.
Mr Maddrell says Rushen constituents are more worried about national issues than local ones (listen to audio file below):
In alphabetical order, the six candidates for the three seats in Rushen are Phil Gawne, Quintin Gill, David Jones (Liberal Vannin Party), John Orme, Laurence Skelly and Juan Watterson.
The programme is at 6.05pm, and will be repeated on FM at 8.05am on Monday (September 26).
