All set for golf finals

Repeat of 2016 women's final

Jon Corke will meet Tom Gandy and Shirley Price will play Breeshey Jansen in the Isle of Man Golf Championship finals at Ramsey tomorrow (Saturday).

On a dramatic evening, both of the men's semi-finals went to the last hole with Jon Corke beating Kevin Moore and Tom Gandy holding his nerve against Daryl Callister.

The ladies showdown will be a repeat of last year after Shirley Price defeated Joy Morris 5&3 and defending champion Breeshey Jansen won by the same margin against Lynda Simpson.

Isle of Man Golf Union president Dee Lewis says two exciting finals are in prospect and was full of praise for the course.
