The World bonnag championships take place this week at St James church in Dalby.
The blue riband event to find the planet's best maker of the classic Manx delicacy had to be postponed in March due to the heavy snow.
It now gets underway tomorrow (Fri 24th) at 7.30pm, with ALL proceeds from the event going to the Agricultural Benevolent Fund.
Entries for the championships should be brought on the night on a paper plate with the entrant's name on the bottom. . . . .and there will be trophies for Ladies, gentlemen and Children's classes with the Isle of Man creameries trophy going to the overall winner.
Admission is £7.50 on the door, to include a variety concert hosted by John Kennaugh and a country supper of sandwiches, tea and of course bonnag!
