Do you recognise this sound?

That is the Carnyx - which sounds in places like an early natural trumpet or trombone - it's an ancient celtic instrument, tracing as far back as 200BC.

Let's hear a little more from what's happening in Brittany in France - it is of course is the Festival Interceltique de Lorient.
