Refreshed Suicide Prevention Strategy due early next year
Work is continuing on the development of a refreshed Suicide Prevention Strategy.
Ard-Shirveishagh Chris Thomas, who is also the cabinet office minister, says the Manx Government must do everything it can to prevent further deaths.
In the House of Keys this week he was asked by Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher to commit to rolling out a ‘fully resourced and connected’ Suicide Rapid Response Team.
She, and her political colleague Andy Saunders, have been speaking to John Moss:
The refreshed Suicide Prevention Strategy will be developed for quarter 1 of 2027.
