
Street Angels also working the fortnight to keep revellers safe
As we approach the TT, officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary are already out in full force monitoring the roads around the Island.
That's according to Inspector Paul Kemp who revealed already some motorists were spoken to this weekend.
Meanwhile, the constabulary is issuing a stern warning to anyone who may attempt to bring illegal substances into the Island during TT fortnight.
With less than a week to go before the Island's biggest tourism event kicks off, police officers are preparing to conduct more visible patrols and crack down on anti-social behaviour.
Inspector Kemp told Manx Radio with the fortnight fast approaching members are ready for their 12-hour shifts and to protect the Island's borders:
Street Angels is a volunteer group that walks around Douglas each week helping vulnerable people.
It plans to have members out on patrol throughout the fortnight.
