Union says latest proposal is 'meaningful' but it wants to stay neutral

A union representing nurses on the Isle of Man wants its members to 'make up their own mind' on a pay offer from Manx Care.

The healthcare provider's proposed a three-year deal which increases pay in line with the CPI figure for each year.

Members of all the trade unions representing Manx Care workers now have until 5 May to respond to a consultation on the offer.

David Hopton is the Senior Regional Officer for the Royal College of Nursing:

Manx Care has confirmed it has made an offer to all unions which form part of the MPTC collective bargaining group adding the offer is currently under consideration by them.
