Work to commence on Monday
Manx Utilities says it has detected a burst water main under a road near Quarterbridge roundabout.
Staff will work on it on Monday, starting from about 9am (after rush hour).
Manx Utilities says it hopes to have the work done in one day, although will know more once its workers have broken ground.
Four-way traffic lights will be in place for the safety of the team, which will be working in the road.
Alison Cottier from Manx Utilities says whilst there's no water visible on the road surface currently, the leak has been detected on their monitoring systems .
