Warning after OFT prosecute Lancashire man

The Office of Fair Trading is urging people to check the labels when it comes to bedding.

Its warning comes after a 62-year-old from the UK was convicted at Douglas Courthouse of selling unsafe memory foam mattresses without a licence.

Neil Young of Lancashire was given a jail term of six weeks, suspended for two years, after admitting two offences.

John Peet, chief inspector at the OFT, says the prosecution came after painstaking detective work:
