
It's a big day for over 400 of the Isle of Man's high school students today (Thursday), with A-Level results due to be released.
Last year saw a record number of passes, with over 98% of students getting grades A*-E.
School improvement adviser for 11-19 education Jan Gimbert says it can be frustrating for teachers, pupils and education officials, because when new benchmarks are set it leads some to say the exams have got easier.
