Emergency crews attend scene near Kate's
Emergency services were called to the Mountain Road yesterday evening (Fri 30), after a vehicle ended up on its roof in a field.
Fire crews, an ambulance team and the police dealt with the incident just below Kate's Cottage, which took place soon after 5:30pm.
The driver needed help from the fire service getting out of their vehicle, after it left the road and came to rest upside-down.
The motorist, who was the only occupant, was checked over by paramedics and the vehicle was recovered, with the road remaining closed until around 6:15pm.
It's not believed the driver sustained any serious injuries.
