Planned maintenance work to take place
The Millennium Bridge in Douglas is to close for several evenings over the next two weeks for planned maintenance work.
From Monday to Thursday next week (3-6 February) the bridge will close at 8pm, reopening no later than 4.30am.
It's for the scheduled replacement of one of the hydraulic cylinders integral to its lifting mechanism, together with other planned maintenance works.
The following week's closures - for scheduled maintenance to the harbour flapgate - will also take place Monday to Thursday overnight from 8pm.
