Start date of 25 April 'provisional'
It's unclear whether the horse trams will start running on time for the beginning of the summer season.
The annual service is set to begin on 25 April, a week today.
The first tracks were laid, as part of ongoing regeneration works on Douglas promenade, three weeks ago.
And Auldyn construction workers said they were on target to start by this date.
Manx Radio requested an interview for an update on the situation and recieved a statement from Isle of Man Transport:
"The horse tram season will start when new track is in place and training for both staff and horses has been completed.
A provisional date of April 25 is published on rail.im and we continue to work towards providing a service as soon as we are able."
