Van driver escapes injury
Two people were taken to hospital following a traffic accident on Whitebridge Hill Onchan yesterday (Sat).
It happened shortly before 11am when a car and a van were involved in a collision at the juntion of Begoade Road on the Whitebridge Hill and the road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The van ended up on its roof but the driver escaped injury.
A man and woman in the car were treated at the scene by paramedics then taken to hospital for treatement to minor injuries and for shock.
