Laxey has set out a shopping list of things it wants to improve the village.
Last night (Thursday), a local committee decided how it will spend cash from the government's town and country regeneration scheme.
A list of ten projects was compiled using suggestions from the public, businesses and the commissioners.
Regeneration committee chairman, Garff MHK Steve Rodan, says a number of schemes were chosen to be carried out in two phases:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Work to tackle problems taking longer than anticipated
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Ballaugh, Bride, Garff and Jurby Commissioners all seeking additional members
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
