Two comets visible in the sky this month

But only one can be seen from the Isle of Man 

Isle of Man residents will be able to spot Comet Schaumasse today. 

But through a pair of binoculars and not with a naked eye.

That's according to local astronomer, Howard Parkin MBE.

He says the comet, which has a 8.2 year orbit around the sun, will be closest to earth. 

But there's also a solar conjunction - which started from yesterday (6 January), as Howard explains:
