
The company which wants to build a wind turbine factory in the Isle of Man is visiting its favoured site this weekend.
Prowind (UK) Ltd could create more than 100 new jobs if a manufacturing base for onshore turbines in Jurby gets the green light.
The firm wants to create a mini wind farm consisting of five turbines, to power the plant.
It's understood without permission for that development, Prowind would go elsewhere.
Later this month a jobs fair has been organised, even though planning issues are yet to be resolved.
This week Michael MHK Alf Cannan warned the project - which came to light in the local press - could face opposition from local residents.
