TT 2026 to get underway with first qualifying sessions

Bikes set to return to Snaefell Mountain Course

The 2026 Isle of Man TT is due to get underway today (25 May).

The entire course will be closed for most of the day.

The Mountain Road will close from 8.45am with the rest of the TT Course due to shut at 10am.

An untimed free practice session gets this year's TT schedule underway starting with a newcomer speed-controlled lap at 10.45am.

That will be followed by the Supersport/Sportbike class at 11am, Sidecars at 11.45am and the Superbike/ Superstocks at 12.40pm.

Roads will stay closed throughout the afternoon's first qualifying session before reopening no later than 9.30pm.

 

Monday's Schedule

8:45 – Mountain Section only begins to close

10:00 – Full TT Mountain Course closed

UNTIMED FREE PRACTICE

10:45 – Newcomer Speed Controlled Lap (Solo and Sidecar)

11:00 – Supersport / Sportbike

11:45 – Sidecars

12:40 – Superbike / Superstock

QUALIFYING 1 

14:15 – Supersport / Sportbike

15:00 – Sidecars

15:55 – Superbike / Superstock

21:30 – All roads will re-open no later than
