Infrastructure minister admits windfarm decisions will be 'very challenging' for CoMin
An MHK who's campaigned against the proposals for an offshore wind farm in Manx waters is hoping to bring the topic to next month's sitting of Tynwald.
Garff member Richard Henthorn will bring forward a motion as he hopes for the Manx parliament to have a general discussion about the plans.
An independent panel looking at Orsted's proposals for an 87-turbine development closed its examination last month, with a report due to be submitted to the Council of Ministers later this year.
Meanwhile, Infrastructure Minister Jason Moorhouse says making decisions about windfarm proposals is going to be 'very challenging' for the Council of Ministers.
As well as the Mooir Vannin project, plans for an onshore project at Earystane have previously been consulted on, although a planning application is yet to be submitted by Manx Utilities.
Mr Henthorn, Mr Moorhouse and Middle MHK James Cochrane have all been discussing the issue with Manx Radio's Political Correspondent Phil Gawne:
