Keys successor saddened at loss
A true gentleman and a proud Manxman
Those epitaphs among tributes paid today to former MHK Martyn Quayle, who has died at the age of 57.
Mr Quayle had been in hospital in Walton for a fortnight, after a fall during a visit to the UK.
He represented Middle for two terms from 2001 -2011.
Howard Quayle succeeded him at the last election, and has suspended campaigning today as a mark of respect.
The pair remained friends and Howard Quayle says he'll remember his namesake for his many positive qualities:
