A Manx cancer charity has won the support of former World Superbike champion James Toseland.
The Port Soderick-based star has been named 2012 patron of Manx Cancer Help, which offers a support service to cancer patients, their familiy, friends and carers throughout the Island.
The charity's free psycho-oncology therapy can enhance surgical and medical treatments for sufferers.
At an open evening this week James toured the charity's base on Woodbourne Road in Douglas.
He says he's delighted to lend his support:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
