'There's enough support for first-time buyers on the Island' says DoI minister

But Crookall admits thresholds need to be reviewed annually

The infrastructure minister says he's happy with the amount of support available for first time buyers on the Island.

Two government schemes, hoping to help people get on the property ladder, have led to 60 homes being bought in the last two years.

The First Home Fixed scheme helps those on low incomes get a two or three bedroom home that's less than £185,000 - those eligible for the Fixed Home Choice must have a combined income of less than £67,000 and save a five percent deposit.

But Tim Crookall admits the thresholds should be reviewed regularly:
