Children across the Island are being encouraged to take part in the 'The Big Wild Read'
The scheme aim is two fold: to get kids visiting the library and reading six of their wildlife themed books.
The initiative is being endorsed by the Henry Bloom Noble library (pictured), which set the challenge to try to get children to take an active interest in both reading and the environment.
'The Big Wild Read' has the backing of local businesses Lombard Manx and Strand Cleaners.
Librarian Jan McCartney is happy the scheme is going very well so far:
