
Store collaborated with police after soar in violent cases
It's been four weeks since Tesco introduced measures to help people experiencing domestic abuse.
Information posters on how to access help have been placed around the store and staff have been briefed on how to assist someone in need.
A similar initiative was recently introduced in Boots.
The new measures are in collaboration with Island police and are in response to a severe rise in the number of domestic violence cases during the pandemic, however the service will continue post lockdown.
