Proposals include new 'entrance plaza' for TT Grandstand, 'bouldering sculptures' and a pond
Douglas Council has revealed its draft 'masterplan' for Noble's Park including proposals for an entrance plaza for the TT Grandstand, a new skatepark and a pond.
The document, published online, is based on feedback from a questionnaire last year which asked locals how they would like to see the area improved.
The proposals laid out in the draft masterplan are now subject to a public consultation.
The council's document shows images of what Noble's Park could look like in the future, and the local authority says it aims to improve facilities, accessibility, recreation opportunities and the overall visitor experience while preserving the park's 'unique character'.

Other proposals include; a community garden, a calisthenics area (i.e. a workout area) as well as bouldering sculptures (for people to climb on) and a table tennis area.
Announcing the survey, Douglas City Council says: "The draft Noble's Park Masterplan sets out an exciting vision for the future development and enhancement of one of the Island’s most valued public spaces.
"The masterplan aims to improve facilities, accessibility, recreation opportunities and the overall visitor experience while preserving the unique character of the park.
"We encourage all residents, park users, community groups and stakeholders to review the draft masterplan and share their views through the public consultation survey.
"Your feedback is vital in helping to shape the final plan and ensure that the future of Noble's Park reflects the needs and aspirations of the community."
The survey ends at midday on 6 July.
