Cycle stands and benches being added
New street furniture is in the process of being installed on Douglas promenade.
MyProm has confirmed cycle stands, and benches, are being put in now that the final resurfacing work is being completed.
Douglas Borough Council is also in the process of installing street lighting columns, decorative lighting and litter bins
It follows comment on social media yesterday that parts of the prom were being dug up by the Manx Utilities Authority – claims which have since been denied.
