Mark Firth hopes to secure a seat in Arbory, Castletown and Malew
A Ballabeg man has declared his intention to stand in the 2026 House of Keys General Election.
Mark Firth wants to represent the constituency of Arbory, Castletown and Malew.
He's told Manx Radio his main priorities will be government reform, the cost of living, housing and supporting local culture and tourism.
On social media Mark says he's worked as a mechanic for the past 15 years and has been actively involved in the Island's music scene for 10 as a performer, promoter and sound engineer.
He adds: "Like many residents I care deeply about keeping our Island a thriving place to live, work and build a future."
The General Election is due to take place on Thursday, 24 September.
