Health Minister hopes to see 'opt in' model cemented
The health minister has revealed staffing our Island's health and social care system if assisted dying is approved is of 'real concern' to him.
Lawrie Hooper was asked for his stance on the proposed legislation as part of this afternoon's Mannin Line programme.
He clarified that whilst he personally is in support of such a bill, the Department of Health and Social Care does not have an official stance, as it follows the will of Tynwald.
