A Freedom of Information request has revealed the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture paid a board advisor almost £800 per day in 2024.
According to the document, the expert worked under the Climate Change Transformation Board for 1.5 days per month for £789 per day.

The Climate Change Transformation Team are responsible for the delivery of the Climate Change Plan 2022-27, which is aimed at reducing emissions and increasing sequestration.
