MHK critical of government over Steam Packet issues
Middle MHK Bill Shimmins is calling for a full, and independent, public inquiry to look at government's handling of the whole Covid-19 pandemic.
It follows a report from Treasury's audit division which looked at a "difference of opinion" between Cabinet Office and the Steam Packet over self-isolation rules for Manx-based crew.
The same investigation examined the so-called 'Steam Packet cluster' which led to a third lockdown at the start of March.

Yesterday Chief Minister Howard Quayle apologised to the House of Keys in his role as leader and head of Cabinet Office.
He admitted "mistakes were made" and government wasn't "as joined-up" as it "should have been".
At a recent Public Accounts Committee hearing Steam Packet boss Mark Woodward claimed Island-based crew were "treated like lepers" in some instances when out in the community.
