Minister wonders if budget would be better spent elsewhere
The Infrastructure Minister says he has 'serious reservations' over the amount of money set aside to rebuild bridges on a Manx heritage trail.
Tim Crookall was questioned this week on progress to reinstate bridges at Glen Wyllin, Glen Mooar and Ballaleece on the former western steam railway line.
The capital cost of the project is £1.3million, and planning permission for it was secured in August.
However, the minister wonders whether the money needed to complete the initiative would be better used elsewhere:
